wake up early again to head to Washington Monument. Why? because they give all their tickets at 8:30am.  we wait in the head for about an hour. the start of another sweat session. finally the line starts to move and we get our tickets for 11:30am. decided to finish looking at the mall. start walking and see people taking a picture of something. look to my left. oh theirs the White House. lets go take a picture. we do. Nope i dont see the president. head back to the mall. first we see World War II monument. Love learning about WWII. Love. walked around and take some pictures. we leave. see some construction going on. realized it was the reflecting pond. :( their was no pond. sad. continue walking while we are sweating from absolute every pore on our bodies. we discuss that we are sweating in crease that we have never sweat before. i will let your imagination work there. reach the Lincoln memorial. decided to switch up the picture taking and decide jumping picture. about 15 later. got an awesome jumping picture. walked up the stairs to greet good ole Ab. took another picture. turned around and saw an awesome potential picture of the mall. took it. too bad the pond is missing. again you can let your imagination do its work and picture it there. we say our goodbyes to Ab and headed to the Korean War memorial. pretty cool. Decided to go finish the other side of air and space museum until we were running out of time till we had to go to Washington Memorial. decided just to go into a museum to cool of and get cold water for a few minutes before going to the W.M. we headed to big metal stick. we go up an elevator and got amazing views of the District. headed down the elevator only to see some cool stone plaques from every state. After W.M. we were going to head to Trader Joes to get some groceries then to lunch at 7th Hill. until Matt got us on the v.i.p. list to go through the Holocaust museum.
