forget me not

General Conference is once again upon us and it tends to come at the time i need it most. I love this time of year. i get to hear from wonderful woman and men in the church to reaffirm my beliefs and a doubts and to build my testimony so that i can return to him. Last night the woman of the relief society had the pleasure to hear from President Uchtdorf (my favorite). I felt like this man was talking to me last night. His talk was about a flower, but not just any kind of flower. a forget me not. he used that flower and its five petals as a metaphor on five things that would should "forget me not"

five thing that we should "forget me not"

forget not to be perfect
turn your weaknesses into strengths. Stop punishing yourself. Be compassionate and patient with yourself.  god knows that you are not perfect.

forget not between a foolish and great sacrifice
Am i committing my time most to something meaningful?

forget not to be happy NOW
do not wait for you golden ticket. don put your life on hold till your ticket is found. realize that you are blessed in other ways. LIVE A RICH, WELL LIVED LIFE

forget not the "why" in the gospel
we often forget why we do things with the gospel. sometime we get caught up in do somethings with that church that we forget the why. seek out the beauty of the why of the gospel.

forget not that the lord LOVES you.
you are not forgotten. He loves you because you are his child.
